The state calculation may be delayed when a new group or a distributed application is created in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007.

In a large deployment of System Center Operations Manager 2007, there may be a delay between the time that a new group or a distributed application is created and when the state of the group or the application is calculated. Until the rollup configuration is calculated, the state will be displayed as a white icon (unmonitored).
