Consider the following scenario:
| • | Some Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 users invite some Microsoft Office Communicator 2005 users to participate in a conversation. |
| • | A Communicator 2007 user sends a message that contains only Japanese characters. |
| • | A Communicator 2007 user sends a message that has no Japanese characters. All participants receive this message. |
| • | A Communicator 2007 user sends a message that contains only Japanese characters. |
In this scenario, the Communicator 2005 users do not receive the last message that contains only Japanese characters. Additionally, the Communicator 2007 users receive the following error message:
Username cannot receive message in the format you used; the message was not delivered: message
