Method 1: Disable the debugger by using the DisableDrWatson.reg file

1.Download the DisableDrWatson.reg file.

The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:

Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help prevent any unauthorized changes to the file.
2.Double-click the DisableDrWatson.reg file to import the registry entry.

Method 2: Disable the debugger by manually changing the registry

1.Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2.Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug
3.Double-click the Auto registry entry.
4.In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
5.Exit Registry Editor.

To reverse the change in the "Resolution" section and to re-enable the debugger, type the following command at a command prompt, and then press ENTER:
drwtsn32 -i
