SYMPTOMS

On a Windows XP-based computer, you use the Run as option to start an application under a user account other than the current user account that you use to log on to the computer. In this application, you may find that the content in a dialog box or in a menu does not update automatically.

For example, you start an Internet Explorer process by running as another user account. In this case, when you try to save some content in Internet Explorer, the Save As dialog box appears. Then, you right-click a blank area in the dialog box to create a new folder. However, the newly created folder does not appear in the dialog box. You have to press F5 to update the content of the dialog box manually to make the folder visible.
