SYMPTOMS

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Unified Messaging-enabled environment, you call someone by using an extension number. If the extension is busy or if the person does not answer, you may hear the voice mail greeting of this person. However, the call may be automatically forwarded to a second extension. If the second extension is also busy or if the second person does not answer, Unified Messaging does not handle the diversion header correctly. Therefore, you may hear the voice mail greeting of the second person. This may cause confusion, because you expect to hear the voice mail of the original person.

RESOLUTION
