The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 client for Microsoft Office Outlook is supported on Windows Server 2008 when used with Terminal Services or with Citrix. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 and the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Outlook are not compatible with Windows Server 2008-based computers. You can install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 in a Windows Server 2008 domain. However, the computer where you install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 must be running Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2000. The following versions of Windows Server 2008 are supported:
