When you try to save an appointment for a related account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you receive the following error message:
A SQL Server Error has occurred
Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'UQ_PrincipalObjectAccess'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.PrincipalObjectAccess'.
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
The account owner shares the account with themselves.
You applied hotfix 940496.
