This article describes an update that is available for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. This update improves Internet Calendar functionality, and it improves compatibility with Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) servers.

This update for Outlook 2007 adds support for the following Internet Calendar features:

Users can now respond to a meeting invitation that is received in iCalendar format with a proposal for a new meeting time.
Extended yearly recurrence patterns are now supported for appointments or meetings that recur every year or every several years.

This update also improves the compatibility between Outlook 2007 and some IMAP e-mail servers.

This update also contains Outlook 2007 user interface (UI) changes that are not available in the update from Microsoft Knowledge Base article 952142. These UI changes relate to the way the Reply (RE:) and Forward (Fw:) UI elements are added to e-mail messages on Norwegian language clients. If you already have installed the update from Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 952142, you do not have to install the update from KB950219 unless you need these specific UI changes.
