This hotfix fixes the following issues that are not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- You configure Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 to potentially
use HTTP as a connection protocol. If you access data from a public folder or
from other user's mailbox, you may be prompted unexpectedly to enter your
credentials. This problem occurs even if you currently do not use HTTP as the
connection protocol.
- You create a recurring meeting based on a custom form in
Office Outlook 2007. When you open the meeting, you see the default form page
instead of the custom form page.
Note When you open the meeting series, you can see the custom form
page.
- When you invite another user to a meeting in Office Outlook
2007, Outlook may stop responding.
- Consider the following scenario. You create a daily
recurring meeting request that does not have a reminder set in Office Outlook
2003. You try to send the meeting request to an Office Outlook 2007 recipient.
In this scenario, you may receive the following error message:
IDS_ERR_PERIOD_DURATION_REMIND
The reminder for
an occurrence cannot be set to appear before the previous occurrence. Shorten
the reminder time or lengthen the recurrence period
If the recipient
tries to accept the meeting request, the recipient may also receive this error
message.
- You may lose some RSS feeds after you restart Office
Outlook 2007 in online mode.
- When you create a new profile in Office Outlook 2007, the
creation wizard disappears before the profile is created. If you try to create
a new message, you receive the following error message:
A
dialog box is open. Close it and try again.
Additionally, you cannot
close Outlook and you have to manually end the Outlook.exe process using Task
Manager. Outlook stops responding, and the crash signature details are:
Application Name: outlook.exe
Application Version: 12.0.6300.5000
