List of issues that this hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issues that are not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
| • | When you type a value in the Actual Work column, Project 2007 may stop responding.
| • | Every
time that you calculate the duration of an assignment, the duration is extended. This problem occurs when the "Finish - Start" task linkage is used in a project.
| • | Changes to fixed duration tasks in Project 2007 also change fixed work tasks. This problem is more likely to occur when the Split in Progress option is enabled.
| • | You create a custom Task Level field in
Project 2007. You select Sum for Rollup for the Calculation for Summary Rows setting, and then you select Sum. When you insert the custom field into a Gantt chart, the field shows "Error."
| • | Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007, you add columns for baseline work and baseline cost fields in the resource usage view. You close Project Professional 2007. Then, you reopen Project Professional 2007, and you connect to Project 2007. In this scenario, the columns that you added are not summarized at the resource level.
| • | If you use any Resource Interactive Filter in Project 2007, you
cannot modify the resources for a project plan by using the Build Team From Enterprise command.
| • | Consider the following scenario. You use a cost resource in Project 2007. You modify existing timephased cost values, and timephased remaining costs are re-calculated. In this scenario, a rounding error occurs when you modify a timephased cost value.
| • | You cannot save project plans that contain bad formulas in custom fields to Project 2007.
| • | When you try to save some files to Project 2007, you may receive the following error message: The file cannot be opened. |
