Article ID: 950475 - Last Review: January 20, 2012 - Revision: 3.2 The Status Reason value of an appointment record is changed to a default value when you run the Dismiss function on a tracked Outlook calendar reminder in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
SYMPTOMS In Microsoft Dynamics
CRM 4.0, you
run the Dismiss function on a tracked Microsoft Office Outlook calendar reminder
for an Activity entity or for a Service Activity entity.
When you do this, the Status Reason
value of an appointment record is changed to a default value. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the Dismiss function triggers an update to an XML file. The
"<statecode>scheduled</statecode>" string value is added to a
user-defined property. However, the
"<statecode>scheduled</statecode>" string value is
incorrect. Therefore,
when the record is synchronized to Microsoft Dynamics
CRM 4.0, this
string value cannot be added to the database.
The correct string value is
"<statecode>3</statecode>." RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
