When you use a portable computer to connect to a remote computer, you cannot manually change your status in Microsoft Office Communicator 2007. The status of Communicator 2007 appears as "Away."

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Communicator 2007 assumes that the remote session is locked even if the remote session is unlocked. Therefore, Communicator 2007 ignores status changes.
