SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • The meeting presenter shares an application in Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007.
  • The meeting presenter makes changes to the application during the sharing session.
In this scenario, a meeting attendee who tries to view the sharing session experiences the following problems:
  • The application changes that the presenter makes take longer than expected to show in the sharing session than in earlier versions of Live Meeting.
  • The shared desktop that the attendee uses appears to pause when the presenter makes the application change. Then, the shared desktop catches up suddenly with the next application change that the presenter makes.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a change that was made to improve bandwidth usage. This change included bundling tiles together to send the tiles all at the same time.
