SYMPTOMS

In a Windows Home Server environment, the Windows Home Server Console may unexpectedly display the operating system for a home computer that has Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed as the following:
Windows Server Longhorn specific edition of Windows Vista

For example, if the home computer is running Windows Vista SP1 for Ultimate Edition, the operating system may be displayed as “Windows Server Longhorn Ultimate Edition."

MORE INFORMATION

This issue does not affect the backup that Windows Home Server makes of the Windows Vista SP1-based home computer. Additionally, this issue does not affect any other functionality of Windows Home Server.
