After you send an updated recurring meeting request to an external recipient in Outlook 2003, the value of the "Sequence" property is not changed

Consider the following scenario. You send a recurring meeting request to an external recipient in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. You update the request, and then you send the request again. However, the value of the Sequence property is not changed.

Notes

• When a recurring meeting request is sent from an Exchange user to an external recipient, the request is packaged in an iCal file.
• The value of the Sequence property is required by Request for Comments (RFC) 2445.
