This hotfix fixes the following issues that are not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
In Project Server 2007, you customize the Project Center view to display values in days instead of in hours. If the default calendar is not set to eight working hours per day, the values are incorrect.
You add a new task to a project in Project 2007. Then, you add actual work to the new task. The new task submission and the actual work submission are accepted when the project is still open. When you try to publish the project plan, you receive the following error message:
Project Server encountered and problem with this error code: 23000.
You create a project in Project Server 2007, and you add a resource to the project. However, you do not assign the resource to a task. You publish the project plan to a Windows SharePoint Web site. Then, you assign the resource to the task, and you republish the project. In this scenario, the Windows SharePoint Web site permission for the resource is "reader." However, you expect the permission to be "team member."
You cannot use the SetPROJ_INFO_STATUS_DATENull method to set the PROJ_INFO_STATUS_DATE field to null in Project Server 2007.
When you use the Project Server Interface (PSI) to create a project in Project Server 2007, the Progress column is empty.
Note If you open and then save the project in Project 2007, the progress link is displayed in the Progress column.
You cannot see the actual work values in the Resource Assignments view in Project Server 2007.
Note In Project Server 2003, you can see the actual work values in the View resource assignments page.
The resource list shows the Timesheet creator instead of the Timesheet owner of the surrogate timesheet in Project Server 2007.
Any negative cost values are lost in an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) cube in Project Server 2007.
You update a task that contains an Enterprise Custom Task field in Project Server 2007. However, the values of the field in the My Assignments view are displayed incorrectly.
Completed tasks are not automatically updated. This behavior occurs even if you defined a rule to automatically accept tasks that are 100 percent completed in Project Server 2007.
When you schedule a non-integral time to build a cube in Project Server 2007, the cube is not built at the scheduled time.
Note Non-integral
time is any time that is not exactly on the hour. For example, 7:01 is a
non-integral time. An integral time is any time that is on the hour. For
example, 7:00 is an integral time. If you schedule an integral time, the cube is built at the scheduled time.
When you save a project as another project in Project 2007, the value of the Cost Type box disappears from both projects.
You cannot create a project from a template by using the Project Server Interface (PSI) if the project has custom fields and assignments that have unassigned resources in Project Server 2007.
You cannot select all the tasks on the Close Tasks to Update page in Project Server 2007.
Note It is not convenient for Project Manager to close the tasks if there are too many tasks in the project plan.
If you change a project name in Project Server 2007, the project name is not updated in Resource Usage view.
The Rem. Dur. (Remaining Duration) field and the Baseline field are not available on the My Tasks page in Project Server 2007.
Note You can add these fields on the Task Center page in Project Server 2003.
You create a formula and a rollup calculation for a custom field in Project Server 2007. However, the formula and the rollup calculation do not work if the custom field is included in a Proposal and Activity project.
You set a date range in the Approvals.aspx page that uses a European regional setting in Project Server 2007. If the Approvals.aspx page is refreshed, the date range is displayed in a U.S. format.
You modify the ChangeXML Utility solution in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 to add the Actual Cost item to an assignment. Then, you update the value in the Actual Cost item. When you open the assignment in Project Server 2007, the value in the Actual Cost item is not updated.
When you click My Task in Project Web Access, you receive the following error message:
An unexpected error has occurred. Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to temporarily close Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more information, contact your site administrator.
