When you start the report wizard or when you perform the Bulk Import activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you receive the following error message:
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
The logged on user does not have the appropriate security permissions to view these records or perform the specific action.
This problem occurs because you cannot set hidden privileges if you create a role from scratch. However, hidden privileges are required for some Microsoft Dynamics CRM default operations.
This problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
After you apply this hotfix, the hidden privileges can be assigned to the roles that are created from scratch. This hotfix does not fix the problems that are caused by the roles that are created before you apply this hotfix.
