INTRODUCTION

An update is available for Microsoft Silverlight 1.0. This new build (1.0.30401.0) is an upgrade to previous builds.

This update includes improved media performance. This improved performance includes support for custom attributes in ASX files. The update also includes improved font support for Apple OS X v10.5 (also known as Leopard), an improved media shutdown experience, and improved multiple language support during installation.

This update is also available on Microsoft Update through Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). Silverlight 1.0 contains an auto-updating mechanism. By default, this mechanism is turned off in the WSUS package. Future updates will be provided through WSUS updates.
