FIX: You receive an access violation exception when you try to compile a program code for the Hitachi SuperH family of microprocessors in Windows CE 5.0 Platform Builder

When you try to compile a program code for the Hitachi SuperH family of microprocessors in Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 Platform Builder development tools, you receive an access violation exception.

Note This exception does not occur when you compile the code without using optimizations. For example, the debug build of Windows CE 5.0 does not use optimizations.

Restart requirement

After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
