When you use the "Site to Zone Assignment List" policy setting to add an IP address to a security zone, the IP address is not displayed in Internet Explorer 6

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You use the Site to Zone Assignment List policy setting to add an IP address to a security zone. Then, you use the Internet Options dialog box in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 to verify that the IP address is added to the security zone. In this scenario, the IP address is not displayed in Internet Explorer 6.

Note If you use the Site to Zone Assignment List policy setting to add a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) to a security zone, the FQDN is displayed in Internet Explorer 6.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, upgrade to Windows Internet Explorer 7. For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
