You use multiple monitors on a Windows Vista-based computer, on a Windows Vista
Service Pack 1-based computer, or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer. Then, you use
calibration tools or other programs to manipulate custom gamma settings. In this case, custom gamma settings may be lost after the fade-in effect is
executed.
Note The fade-in effect is executed in the following scenarios:
- Lock and unlock the computer.
- Resume the computer from sleep.
- Resume the computer from hibernate.
To resolve this issue, install the MS08-025 security update.
