The value in the Actual End column is incorrect in the "My Received E-mails" view in the E-mail type activities list in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0Article ID: 951538 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSYou receive an e-mail message from a Microsoft Dynamics CRM
client. When you view the e-mail record in the
"My Received E-mails" view in the activities list,
the value in the Actual End column is incorrect. CAUSEThis
problem occurs because the
actualend attribute
of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM E-mail entity is populated with the value of the
ReceivedOn date from the
e-mail
messages. However,
the
ReceivedOn date is stored in
the format of the local system
time,
and the Microsoft Dynamics CRM E-mail Provider does
not convert the datetime field to the
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) format. Then, this value is inserted into
the database.
Therefore, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM activity grid displays the value for the Actual End column according to the time zone settings of the user in the local system time format. RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
