Description of the hotfix rollup package for Data Protection Manager 2007, dated April 24, 2008

This article describes the issues that are fixed in the hotfix rollup package, dated April 24th, 2008, for Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2007.

List of issues that are fixed

Issue 1

When you try to restore a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Microsoft Office SharePoint Web site, you receive the following error message:

When you perform a consistency check on a compressed volume, changed files are replicated again.

Issue 3

When you delete recovery points, space is not reclaimed on the recovery point volume.

Issue 4

When you try to create or modify a protection group, the Data Protection Manager (DPM) console stops responding.

Issue 5

When you specify a Maximum duration (hours) value in the "Consistency check" schedule, the specified value is not honored.

Issue 6

When you restore a SharePoint site and select the Restore Security Option, the site permissions are not restored correctly.

Issue 7

By default, error logs are enabled.
