SYMPTOMSIn an Exchange Server 2007 environment in which the
Exchange ActiveSync Service (EAS) has been deployed, when you use the mobile device to download
attachments by using EAS, the operations are recorded into the W3svc log
file. Messages that are logged in this file resemble the following: Note The W3svc log files are saved in following folders: drive\Windows\System32\LogFiles\W3SVCnumber\
In this message, the "Att" value reflects
the number of attachments. In this scenario, the "Att" value should be 1. However, the log incorrectly reports the "Att" value as 2 (Att2).RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, download Update Rollup 4 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1. Then, install the update on the Exchange server.
