SYMPTOMSWhen you run the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 E-mail Router service on a computer that has multi-core processors, you may receive the following error message:
An item with the same key has already been added. The E-mail Router service could not process a provider work item using assembly: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EmailProviders.dll and class: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.ExchangePollingMailboxProvider. System.ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Insert(TKey key, TValue value, Boolean add) at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.Add(TKey key, TValue value) at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.MessageSync.Acquire() at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.CrmPollingMailboxProvider.Run() at Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Agent.ServiceCore.ExecuteProviderWork(Object providerQueueRequestObject) RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
