SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You deploy an application by using ClickOnce deployment on a computer that is running the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1). The application is configured to allow URL parameters to be passed to the application. You pass different values to the URL parameters when you try to start the application. In this scenario, you cannot start the application. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
You cannot start application <App_Name> from this location because it is already installed from a different location.
Note This problem does not occur when the computer is running the .NET Framework 2.0.
