SYMPTOMS

You use the "Run as administrator" option to run Zune Setup as an administrator in a user account. You click the LAUNCH button at the end of the installation process to start the Zune software for the first time. Then, you configure some settings. When you start the Zune software again, you cannot see any music, videos, podcasts, or pictures that you configured when you first ran the software.

CAUSE

If you use the "Run as administrator" option to run Zune Setup, all the settings that you make when you first run the software are attributed to the administrator and not to the current user.

THINGS TO TRY

To resolve this problem, you should close the Zune software after the installation is complete, restart the Zune software, and then configure the settings in your current user account.
