The Communications Server 2007 Mediation Server rejects an incoming invite on its proxy Communications Server 2007 side which has a Required header with the Replaces optionArticle ID: 952782 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSThe Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Mediation Server
rejects an incoming Invite on its proxy when the proxy has a Required header
together with the Replaces option. Currently, this causes no known problems in
an Office Communications Server 2007 deployment because no known Office
Communications Server 2007 components send such an Invite. However,
applications that are based on Unified Communications (UC) programming
interfaces that are provided by Microsoft for Office Communications Server 2007
R2 will send such an Invite to the Mediation Server. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install the August 2008 update
package for Office Communications Server 2007 Mediation Server.
