SYMPTOMS

When you try to add a user to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 from a trusted domain, you receive the following error message:
An error has occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.
This problem occurs if you set the value of the AutoGroupManagementOff registry entry to 1.

When this problem occurs, you can add a user only from a local domain.
