The Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client may crash when you try to use e-mail to send a meeting invitation

SYMPTOMS

On a client computer that has Microsoft Office 2000 installed, you install Office Live Meeting 2007. After that, when you try to use e-mail to send a meeting invitation to meeting attendees, the Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client will crash.

RESOLUTION

The e-mail capabilities of Live Meeting 2007 were not designed to work together with Office 2000. To disable this feature, install the hotfix rollup package that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

Note If you have Office 2000 installed on a client computer and if you install the latest release of Live Meeting 2007, you can no longer send meeting invitations by using e-mail. This feature has been removed.
