When you install Update Rollup 3 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you receive the following error message:
Error installing Update Rollup 3: Installation of this Update Rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (KB927751) is required to continue.
The following error message is written to the KB935364_err.log file:
(Information) Entering ValidatePreRequiredHotfixes (Diagnostic) Failed to get registry value HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSCRM\KB927751IsInstalled.
This problem occurs even if Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 is installed.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSCRM
  3. If the KB927751IsInstalled registry entry does not exist, create the KB927751IsInstalled registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. Right-click MSCRM, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
    2. Type KB927751IsInstalled, and then press ENTER.
    3. Double-click the KB927751IsInstalled registry entry.
    4. In the Value data field, type 1, and then click OK.
  4. Exit Registry Editor.
  5. Restart the computer.
