SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Exchange. You have two file filter lists that are named "List A" and "List B." These lists appear in the following order in the file filter lists:
  • List A
  • List B
You delete List A. Then, you create a new file filter list and name the new list "List A."

In this scenario, the file filter lists now appear in the following order:
  • List B
  • List A
This condition occurs because you added List A after List B. List B takes precedence over List A because List B was added first. However, this priority setting for the file filter lists is incorrect. List A should still take precedence over List B for file matching.
