Error message when you try to download or play back content from the Zune Marketplace: "You’ve reached the maximum number of downloads for this item. Error code C00d135C"

When you try to download TV videos or play back content from the Zune Marketplace, you may receive the following error message:

This error may occur in the following scenarios:

• Scenario 1: Your current location is restricted to purchase of TV videos from the Zune Marketplace.
• Scenario 2: You have reached the licensing limit for an item that you purchased from the Zune Marketplace.
• Scenario 3: You try to play back a file that you did not purchase from Zune Marketplace or that you purchased by using a different Zune account.

To resolve this issue, try the following methods:

• For scenario 1:
  • There is no resolution for this issue because you are in a restricted location.
• For scenario 2:
  • In some cases, additional licenses may be made available for music and for music videos. For more information, contact Zune Support.
    Note For download-to-own (DTO) TV videos, additional licenses are not available. And, you cannot repurchase the content.
• For scenario 3:
  • If you have not purchased the content, try to purchase it from the Zune Marketplace.
  • If you purchased the content by using a different Zune account, sign in to the Zune Marketplace by using that other account, and then re-download the item.
