SYMPTOMS

You have a computer that is running Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007. When many clients connect to this computer, Address Book synchronization may occur two times. Additionally, the following message is logged in the Application log two times on the same day:

Event ID: 21004
Date: <Date>
Time: <Time>

Computer: <server>

Description: Next synchronization pass will start at: <Date> <Time> For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a logic issue in the ABServer.exe managed assembly.

RESOLUTION
