Before you install certain language interface packs (LIPs) for Windows Vista and for the 2007 Microsoft Office system, you must first preinstall a new font update. The LIPs that require the preinstallation of this new font update are as follows:

When a customer purchases Windows Vista or the 2007 Microsoft Office system and wants to install one of the LIPs that are mentioned in this article, the customer must preinstall this font update. This update contains the most up-to-date font information so that these LIP languages will be displayed correctly. The font update will be available at the Download Center page for each of these LIP languages. Also, users will be instructed to install the font update before they install the LIP language.
