Error message when you run the Duplicate Detect function on data records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0: "Object required"

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Advanced Find function to load some pages of data records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, and then you click For All Records on All Pages to run the Duplicate Detect function on these data records, you receive an error message that resembles the following error message:
