SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0:
  • You have a service-activity-based workflow rule that sends e-mail notifications to all service resources that are involved in a service activity.
  • You create a service activity.
  • You add equipment or a facility to the service activity as a service resource.
  • The equipment resource or the facility resource is associated with a valid e-mail address.
  • You schedule the service activity.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
At least one recipient does not have an e-mail address or is marked as 'Do Not Allow' e-mail.
However, you expect that an e-mail notification is sent to the equipment resource or to the facility resource when you schedule the service activity.

If the DevErrors parameter is enabled, you receive the following error message:
Crm Exception: Message: Object address not found on party or party is marked as non-emailable, ErrorCode: -2147218688
