SYMPTOMS

When you try to create a meeting by using the Microsoft Live Meeting 2005 Add-in for Outlook or the Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 Conferencing Add-in for Outlook, a blank meeting invitation is created in the Deleted Items folder. This behavior may occur if you are using either Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005 or Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007,

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, give the blank meeting a title, and then repeat that title for each blank calendar appointment that is automatically created. Then, you can set a rule to ignore the meeting invitation. To do this, follow these step:

MORE INFORMATION

For filtering, the calendar item contains one of the following blocks of text:
"PLEASE IGNORE - Temporary item created by Live Meeting Add-In (Version 7.xxxxxxxx)"

Other kinds of calendar items are created in the Deleted items folder in Outlook in the following scenarios.

Meeting: <meeting subject>

Scenario 3

A Live Meeting attendee accepts a Live Meeting Invite that is displayed in the Live Meeting reminder pop-up dialog box. When this occurs, a Live Meeting Invite that has the following Subject is created in the Live Meeting presenter's Deleted Items folder in Outlook:
Meeting: <meeting subject>

Scenario 4

A Live Meeting Attendee accepts a Live Meeting Invite that is displayed in the Live Meeting reminder pop-up dialog box. When this occurs, the Attendee may create the following entry in his or her Deleted Items folder in Outlook:
