You insert a
cross-reference into a Microsoft Office Word 2007 document.
If you update the
cross-reference, a revision occurs in the value of the Ref field.
In this scenario, the Ref field is updated incorrectly when you print the Word 2007
document. Therefore, the revision in the cross-reference
disappears.
This issue is fixed in the Word 2007 hotfix package that is dated June 20, 2008. Therefore, you should apply and install this hotfix package.

Fix it for me
To enable the hotfix automatically, click the
Fix it button or
link. Click
Run
in the
File Download
dialog box, and follow the steps in the Fix it wizard.

Note If you are not on the computer that has the problem, you can save the automatic fix to a flash drive or to a CD, and then you can run it on the computer that has the problem.
