On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You use System Center Configuration Manager 2007 to manage
multiple computers. These computers are enabled by using
versions of Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) that
are earlier than version 3.2.1. In this scenario, you cannot
connect to these computers by using the Out of Band Management console in the
Configuration Manager 2007 console. CAUSEThis problem occurs because versions
of Intel AMT that
are earlier than version 3.2.1 are
not supported in Configuration Manager 2007. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply the following hotfix on computers that
have the Out of Band Management console installed. Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article.
