When you run Pre-Upgrade Checker, this rule lists the version of the code that is running, the number of servers, the number of Web applications, the number of content databases (total megabytes), and the number of site collections that are in the current farm. The following is an example of the message that you receive:

The SharePoint Products and Technologies based software currently running on this farm is binary build version number. The farm contains the following components:
Number of Servers servers
Number of Web Applications web applications
