The AamUrls rule in Pre-Upgrade Checker for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) scans a Web application and reports the following objects:
- Alternate Access Mapping (AAM) URLs in the Web application
- Databases that are migrated to a new farm
The following example lists AAM URLs in an existing environment:

Pre-Upgrade Checker ships in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SP2. It is used to assess the server for potential upgrade issues when you try to upgrade to the next version release that supersedes Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
