A memory leak may occur when you run an application that uses the DHTML Edit control on a Windows XP-based computer

You develop an application that uses the DHTML Edit control. However, when you run the application on a Windows XP-based computer, a memory leak may occur. When this problem occurs, system performance decreases. Additionally, if you use the system performance monitor tool (Perfmon.exe) to monitor the process, you notice that the private byte is increasing.
