Expand all | Collapse all

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You access a Web application through Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007.
  • Some HTML pages of the Web application contain non-HTTP URLs.
  • You click the non-HTTP URLs to access resources.
In this scenario, you cannot access the desired resources.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because IAG 2007 does not translate the non-HTTP links in HTML pages. IAG 2007 only translates URLs that begin with http:// or with https://. For example, IAG 2007 does not translate FTP URLs.

RESOLUTION

For the users to access non-HTTP resources, you must use one of the following methods:
  • Socket forwarding
  • Port forwarding
  • Network Connector
