On This PageSYMPTOMSIf you have Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT)-related software installed on a computer that is running System Center Configuration Manager 2007, the SMS_Executive service process (Smsexec.exe) may crash. CAUSEThis problem may occur if you have a version of Intel AMT that is earlier than version 2.5 installed. The Amtopmgr.dll module does not correctly translate packages from AMT firmware that is earlier than version 2.5.
