SYMPTOMS

When you try to close an opportunity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you receive the following error message:
A validation error occurred. The length of the 'subject' attribute of the 'opportunityclose' entity exceeded the maximum allowed length of '100'.
This problem occurs if the subject of the opportunity contains more than 100 characters.
