You receive an error message when you try to access the File Access Configuration page in Intelligent Application Gateway 3.6 or Intelligent Application Gateway 2007: "Page could not be displayed"

When you try to access the File Access Configuration page in Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 3.6 or Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway 2007, you might receive the following error message: Additionally, the following Error event is logged in Event Viewer:

Logon Failure:
Reason: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this machine
User Name: IWAM_username
Domain: domain_name
Logon Type: 4
Logon Process: DCOMSCM
Authentication Package: Negotiate
Workstation Name: workstation_name

The Error event indicates that the IWAM user account does not have the correct permissions to the File Access Configuration page. This issue may occur if a new policy overwrites the current permissions or the credentials of the IWAM user account on the internal IAG.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command:
   cd drive:\Inetpub\AdminScripts
   cscript synciwam.vbs
   Note In the first command, drive represents the system installation drive.
