The .bst files that are generated by the IAG rule creating utility may exhaust available disk space

Expand all | Collapse all

SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) rule creating utility generates files in the TEMP folder in the form of req<number>.bst. If the IAG rule creating utility is left running, the .bst files continue to be generated until available disk space is exhausted.

WORKAROUND

This is an expected behavior when this utility is running. To work around this issue, you can manually disable the utility. To do this, rename the WhlFiltRecorder.ini file in the following folder:
Drive:\Whale-Com\e-Gap\Von\conf\WebSites\trunk name\conf\CustomUpdate\
After you rename the file, enable the configuration, and then clean up the .bst files to recover the used disk space.
