INTRODUCTION

This article describes the ACE agent requirements that you must consider in order to implement SecurID authentication in Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG).

MORE INFORMATION

To enable SecurID authentication on an internal IAG server, you must install an ACE agent on the IAG server. Several RSA agents are available for SecurID authentication. IAG specifically requires RSA Authentication Agent 5.5 for Microsoft Windows or a later version.

For more information about how to implement RSA SecurID authentication on an IAG server, visit the following RSA Web site:

We do not recommend that you install RSA Authentication Agent for Web for Internet Information Services (IIS) on an IAG server. RSA Authentication Agent for Web for IIS is incompatible with IAG. If you already installed RSA Authentication Agent for Web for IIS, you may experience the following symptoms.

Symptom 1

An event log that contains the following error message is logged in the Application log on the IAG server:
The HTTP Filter DLL X:\Whale-Com\e-Gap\Von\Conf\WebSites\portal\bin\WhlFilter.dll failed to load. The data is the error.

Symptom 2

When you access the IAG portal from a client computer, you receive one of the following error messages:
Page cannot be displayed
Server Error
Forbidden Directory Listing Denied HTTP error 403.14
To remove RSA Authentication Agent for Web for IIS, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel. Then, restart the computer.
