On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you run Microsoft SQL server 2008 on a Windows XP-based computer, and you try to append data to a FILESTREAM varbinary (max) column in SQL server 2008, data corruption may occur.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because of an error in the Server Message Block (SMB) redirector service.
